On the fourth Monday of January, I attended a Third Tuesday Ottawa event featuring Daniel Feeny, Director of Digital Communications at Canada’s National Capital Commission (NCC).
Dan presented on the NCC’s success using social media with various pilot projects and activities last year. The pilot projects provided learning experiences that led to the development of new initiatives such as mobile apps and a website redesign; not to mention improved trust and credibility gained by engaging the general public.
